"A Good Swing Starts with Strong Fundamentals"
Born in Sacramento, Brian started playing golf at the age of 12. He grew up playing golf and participating in more than 40 local junior tournaments. After taking 2nd place in his first tournament, Brian knew he wanted to become more serious with the game. During high school Brian's nickname was "Dave Pelz Jr." after having 16 hole outs in a two week span during his sophomore year while attending Laguna Creek H.S. "Ever since the beginning I wanted to become a PGA Golf Professional, says Brian. There is nothing better than seeing someone happy after hitting good shots and improving."
Brian has had the opportunity to learn from the best and teach some of the best in the nation. During his time as the 1st Assistant Professional at Whitney Oaks Brian worked with Top 100 PGA Instructor and former PGA Tour Player Keith Lyford. Brian has taught many top junior and collegiate players during his almost 20 years in the golf industry. He believes in solid fundaments, not overcomplicating the golf swing and focusing on tried and true swing methods to achieve good golf shots and ensure a good time on the golf course.
